Without technology, our lives wouldn’t be just the usual walk in the park daily routine. Technology is a huge contributor to the well being of human kind. Just try to imagine how hard it would be to make it through the day without the simplest of technologies. We have grown by using the luxuries that technology provides that many wouldn’t know how to adapt to the traditional and simpler methods. Technology has surely proven itself to be very beneficial, if not necessary. Some people may be confused on what exactly technology is? Technology is the systematic study of the methods and techniques employed in industry, research, agriculture, and commerce. These studies are then put to use in order to make daily life much easier. Some might think that technology is not necessary due to the opinion that it brings out the worst in people.

WHAT IS EMPOWERMENT TECHNOLOGY?

Empowerment Technology is important for it is used as a source of communication. As years passed, lots of gadgets and other devices have improved its uses. Before, a cellular phone is only used for texting, calling and playing simple games. Now, due to technology convergence or the way technology changes or evolves its system, a cellular phone is not just used for texting, calling and playing simple games. It is now used for communicating people from other places by the use of the internet and applications or softwares such as facebook, messenger, twitter, viber, kakao talk and etc that is consistently been used by mostly everyone of us. Without these applications or softwares, we cannot communicate every day with the people who are far from us. Since Empowerment Technology is well-known among everyone of us, communication with other people who are far from us will never be a problem anymore. Friendships that has been broken by distance has now been rebuilt through the use of Empowerment Technology.

an educational program developed to prepare primary and secondary students for college and graduate study in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.

We often find foreigners who struggle to learn Filipino words. But truth be told, Filipinos—no matter how fluent we are in speaking our native language—still have so much to learn.

Here are the list of the 10 uncommonly used Filipino words:


1. Dupil


Definition: It is an amulet, or anything that is believed to have the power to save the person who owns it from any harm. The more popular Tagalog words currently being used are anting-anting and agimat.

Sentence Example: Ginamit ni Pedro ang dupil upang maligtas ang kaniyang kapatid sa kapahamakan.



2. Sulatroniko

Definition: It is a messages distributed by electronic means from one computer user to one or more recipients via a network.

Sentence Example: Ipinadala ko na ang sulatroniko ko kay Angela.

3. Anluwage

Definition: It is a person who makes and repairs wooden objects and structures.

Sentence Example: Ihanap moko ng anluwageng kayang gumawa ng upuan para sa sala.

4. Kansunsilyo

Definition: Boxer shorts are a type of undergarment typically worn by men.

Sentence Example: Ginamit na ni Andrei ang bagong biniling kansunsilyo sakanya ng kanyang tiya.


5.  Isalat

Definition: It is an action word that refers to the use or infliction of witchcraft, or a secret power to inflict pain and suffering to other people.


Sentence Example: Lumapit si Aliyah sa Isalat upang ipakulam sila Mina at Tanya.

6. Asoge

Definition: It consists of a bulb containing mercury attached to a glass tube of narrow diameter; the volume of mercury in the tube is much less than the volume of the bulb.


Sentence Example: Ingatan mong wag mabasag ang thermometer dahil nakakamatay ang kaniyang asoge.


7. Sambat

Definition: a fork is a tool consisting of a handle with several narrow tines on one end.


Sentence Example: Paki-abot nung sambat dyan sa kusina.


8.  Labaha

Definition: It is an instrument with a sharp blade or combination of blades, used to remove unwanted hair from the face or body.


Sentence Example: Ginamit nya ang labaha sa cr upang kanyang ipang-ahit sa kanyang balbas.


9.  Sipnayan

Definition: it is the abstract science of number, quantity, and space.

Sentence Example: Hindi mahirap aralin ang Sipnayan kapag nakikinig ka sa turo ng iyong titser.


10. Pulot-gata

Definition: It is the traditional holiday taken by newlyweds to celebrate their marriage in intimacy and seclusion.


Sentence Example: Pagtapos nilang ikasal ay lumipad sila papuntang Greece para sa kanilang pulot-gata.
